When to go to Essaouira?
Essaouira is located in southwest Morocco, on the Atlantic coast between Agadir in the south and Safi in the north. Essaouira is 180 km west of Marrakech.
Essaouira enjoys a mild climate all year round, heavily influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, which makes it ideal to visit at any time of the year!
To fully appreciate the city, we recommend that you visit between February and December. January is the coldest and rainiest month with average temperatures of 15°.

Essaouira is known to be a windy city! So you should always have a jacket or waistcoat with you, even in the middle of summer! This is why there is no ideal season for surfers, who are present in the city all year round.
